2026  Women’s Writing Circles on Zoom

Writing Life Women’s Circle Pop-Ups on Zoom

nourish yourself, honour your voice, write your stories

with Mary Ann Moore

To help keep you connected to your writing practice during the summer, I’m offering some Writing Life Women’s Circle Pop-Ups on Zoom. You can sign up for one or all, or any number in between. Here’s hoping a variety of days of the week will make it possible for you to find a date on which you can join the circle and discover what’s waiting to be written. This is a wonderful opportunity to gather with other women writers to enjoy support and encouragement for your writing practice. Since this is a circle for everyone, no matter your writing experience, why not share this heart-opening experience with your friends? I look forward to reconnecting as well as welcoming those new to the Writing Life Women’s Circle. You’ll find the dates, topics, and fees below.

If you’re unable to attend a circle and are interested in the topic, I’ll have notes and resources available following the circle for you to purchase. Following the Writing Life notes, you can create a writing ceremony of your own with opening and closing readings, writing invitations, and resources referred to on the particular topic. Please see below for the fee.

It’s really a wonder that we can create a circle of writing women across the many miles. I’m really grateful for that. The writing circle offers a calm, nurturing, and inspiring space for your writing to unfold. You will be supported and encouraged on your journey, in the company of fellow “travellers.” The circle format is an ancient wisdom that offers a perfect container for a welcoming experience: a sacred ceremony of writing, sharing and listening where each person is respected for their presence and contributions.

Please be in touch if you have any questions and to sign up for the writing circles you’re interested in.

Intent

  • To provide a safe place for people to tell their stories.
  • To find the still centre of ourselves and of the circle.
  • To write what has heart and meaning for us.
  • To realize our role as leaders in a circle of leaders.
  • To remember the divine feminine and
embrace our female and male teachers.
  • To become a community of peers
slowing down to a natural rhythm

You [women of the circle from away] make it very easy to share my writing. The way we hold one another up, the level of encouragement, is very touching. It’s an honour to be part of this circle experience. – Tabitha, Ontario, Canada

. . . what a gift you have given us all with this writing circle. I imagine those who attended your live version wish it could continue, but please let them know that I for one look forward to these gifts in my inbox. – Josephine, Alberta, Canada
