Reflect & Renew, a Women’s New Moon Circle
Five monthly sessions beginning Sunday, January 29 to May 28, 2017
(See specific dates below)

1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Two Cat Be & Be (Mary Ann’s home in Nanaimo)

In the New Moon Circle we will honour the cycles of the creative process from the rest and restoration of winter; root growth in the dark of early spring; new beginnings in spring and the protection of creative time as we head into summer’s blooming. We’ll spend some time resting in the oasis of the circle and offering reflections in conversation. Further exploration will be done through writing and collaging. At each circle we’ll set an intention for the next lunar cycle.

my experience

As a poet, writer and circle leader, I bring many years of experience, passion and playfulness to writing in community. I find great delight in seeing people awaken their creative potential. I offer a six-week women’s writing circle called Writing Life, one-day circles usually at Bethlehem Centre in Nanaimo, and a mentoring program called Writing Home: A Whole Life Practice. I look forward to offering the Women’s New Moon Circle again as I did in Ontario more than eleven years ago!
